The Story Behind the Whim

I never dreamed of simply becoming an artist. I dreamed of creating something that inspired others to become artists, too.

Creativity has always been a part of who I am. I’ve always been drawn to the way imagination can become something tangible—the way a blank canvas, a few colors, or an idea in your mind can turn into something that didn’t exist before. To me, that is the magic of art.

As the world continues to evolve and technology becomes more present in nearly every part of our lives, I believe protecting our ability to create, imagine, and express ourselves authentically matters more than ever. Art doesn’t have to be perfect, professional, or even make sense to anyone else. Sometimes, it simply needs to be yours.

Rosalie’s Whim Haus was created as a haven for exactly that. A place—wherever we may gather—where people can step outside of the everyday, reconnect with their imagination, and give themselves permission to create freely.

My hope is that you leave a Whim Haus experience with more than something you painted. I hope you leave a little more connected to yourself, a little more inspired, and reminded that there has always been an artist within you.
